The 2.55 classic flap bag has been around since February 1955 (hence the name) and little change has been made on this iconic Chanel bag. This iconic bag has been seen on countless Hollywood celebrity from the late Elizabeth Taylor in the 1950s to current day Lady Gaga. This is the sought after medium 2.55 flap bag. Single flap opening with iconic double 'C' turnstile lock and single chain strap which can be worn off shoulder or cross body. The 2.55 classic flap bag is one of our most popular and sought after bag and we cannot source these bags quick enough to meet demand - these bags once sold they are gone. This style is still being stocked in current Chanel boutiques but often its SOLD OUT or there are long waiting list, and prices starting from £2850GBP upwards and prices increasing 30% every season this is the bag to invest in! and to be seen in!

This bag does have signs of wear. Because the bag is made from delicate lambskin there are signs of wear along the corners of the bag, the flap edge and the front flap of the bag. There are a few minor white marks on the back side left hand corner of the bag see pictures for reference.The bag is dark Navy colour. However the chain strap is in excellent condition and the same inside the bag, the lining is clean and in good condition. There is a inner zip pocket with additional pouch pocket and back pocket.  The gold turnstile lock is in excellent condition and in excellent working order. The serial sticker is missing but the bag comes with its original Chanel authenticity card. Considering the age of the bag is over 20 years old! this is a lovely bag with history and in its previous life it was well loved and used by its owner.  Overall a lovely iconic bag that has signs of usage but that makes this bag all the more vintagey in feel. Bag comes with a complimentary Vintage Heirloom dust bag.
