SOLD - RARE vintage Karl Lagerfeld floral earrings circa 1980s

Amazing statement piece from a early 1980's Karl Lagerfeld. This was before he joined Chanel corps in 1984. I am always on the look out for unusual one-of-a-kind piece and these earrings certainly fit the bill. These earrings belonged to assistant designer to Karl (one of my contacts) in the early 1980s and were part of a photo shoot worn by a then unknown model called Helena Christensen! This same designer later went on to follow Karl and joined him as part of the Chanel design team. Fashion is a small world!

These clip on style earrings are in excellent condition, the 'clip on' still feels firm and strong and comfy to wear. Stylised floral motif on a large metal frame. Brass metal base sprayed black.
