We guarantee that our items are 100% authentic genuine designer items. It is illegal to sell ‘counterfeit’ items. We believe in respecting the protection of a brands identify and intellectual property. We are also one of a few companies that work with top UK and international stores who demand authenticity.
Q) WHAT IF I BUY SOMETHING FROM YOUR WEBSITE AND IT'S A FAKE? [top]
We have never and will never sell any replica items on our website. If we have any doubt regarding the authenticity of any item we will not put it on our website.
However if you believe you have received a ‘replica’ please immediately return the item for a no quibble refund. If you believe you have a replica item but it is after the return period we would need independent confirmation that the item was a replica. There are a number of ways you can do this. Probably the easiest way would be to post your query on the great website 'Purse Forum' for an independent opinion.
If you were still in doubt after receiving feedback from Purse Forum you would need to obtain and forward an official evaluation on headed paper from the brand’s head office. If your claim were upheld by the brand we would gladly make a full refund plus the costs of authentication and shipping after the bag has been returned. But rest assured we are confident this will never happen.
Please note, we do not accept or recognise the multitude of non regulated 3rd party authentication companies such as those found on eBay.

We have extensive experience of authenticating several hundred bags each year. We have rejected far more bags than we accept. We follow strict guidelines checking all aspects of authenticity with each item. We are constantly sourcing, researching and updating our knowledge with new information about authenticating designer brands.

Q) WHERE DO YOU GET YOUR STOCK? [top]
We buy a mixture of vintage stock from individuals, auctions and from overseas vintage stores. We source mainly from the UK, USA and Japan. We only ever buy from licensed dealers or from trusted individuals.
Q) CAN I GET A REFUND? [top]
Yes, we offer 7 days full money back guarantee on all ‘FULL PRICED ITEMS’. We will email you once your shipment has been dispatched, and we will inform you of the refund date. So you can make a decision if you want to keep your order or not.
For ‘ON SALE’ items we offer 7 DAY EXCHANGE ONLY, no refund.
Q) HOW CAN I PAY? [top]
We accept major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, and Solo cards. We also accept PayPal payments. We also use 3D secure which protects your card against unauthorised use and gives you peace of mind when shopping online.
Q) I WANT TO MAKE A RETURN? [top]
You can return all ‘FULL PRICED’ items within 7 days and we will gladly refund in full. If you wish to make a return please email us. All returned items will be at your cost and must be sent via recorded delivery or with a reputable courier. We will only accept returned goods where the courier requires our signature. We require the items to be returned in the same condition as it was sold. We will then process your refund in full and update you via email.
Q) WHERE IS MY REFUND? [top]
If you have made the payment via credit card, it will show up on your next credit card statement. If you made a payment via debit card please allow up to 3-4 working days. For PayPal payments it will immediately credit your account.
Q) CAN I ASK FOR A DISCOUNT? [top]
Sorry we do not take offers for our vintage stock. We occasionally put items on sale, approximately 2-3 times a year.
Q) I HAVE A VINTAGE CHANEL BAG TO SELL? DO YOU BUY FROM INDIVIDUALS? [top]
Yes, we have bought many vintage items directly from private sellers. In the main we prefer to work with UK RESIDENT customers for logistical reasons. The bags / jewellery needs to be a minimum of 10 years old to qualify as vintage. We do not buy new bags or accessories. If you wish to contact us regarding your vintage item please the best way is to email us at info@vintageheirloom.com. Please provide several clear pictures of each item you wish to sell.
We are particularly interested in vintage Chanel handbags and vintage Chanel jewellery but we do occasionally accept other designer brands.
Q) HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING? [top]
Shipping is free in UK and worldwide - there are no additional costs. However if you are overseas you may incur custom duties and taxes from your own country.
Q) HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SHIP? [top]
All items marked for 'Next day delivery' will be posted the next possible working day (Monday to Friday). UK and Eire orders are sent by Special delivery with Royal Mail, or occasionally with TNT. For overseas orders please allow up to 5 working days, we primarily use: FEDEX, TNT and DHL as our nominated couriers. We will provide you with a Tracking number whilst your items are in transit.
Q) WHAT COUNTRIES DO YOU SHIP TO? [top]
We ship to most countries worldwide. However we have a list of countries which we do not ship to on the advice of our nominated couriers: Afghanistan, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Egypt, Iraq, Somalia and Libya. These are subject to changes.

Currently we do not have a shop. We are a web based e-commerce business. Occasionally we have a by-appointment Pop-Up shop.

We are not currently offering a layaway service. We will review this in the future.

Sorry, we do not hold stock for individuals. Our stock sells quickly so we can’t take items off for any period of time.

Yes, we mail all customers who have agreed to receive a newsletter when new stock arrives. To sign up for a newsletter please sign up and create an account with Vintage Heirloom. Remember to subscribe to our newsletter. We only send emails when we have new stock and promotions about once a month.

We get many emails requesting specific stock items. Please bear in mind it is almost impossible to replace the exact same vintage bag or jewellery item, as vintage stock is often one-of-a-kind.
